Meconopsis belong to the poppy family (Papaveraceae), but they are not true poppies (Papaver). Commonly known as Himalayan Poppies, these magnificent & much admired perennials bear breathtaking poppy-like flowers. The clump-forming plants are fully hardy & prefer a lime-free soil. Supplied in a 9cm pot. Paniculata -Large grey green toothed leaves, covered in hairs, short lived perennial, flowers are canary yellow, producing candelabra-like heads of nodding flowers. An outstanding plant you shouldn't be without! Flowers June-August. Height 100cm (40). Middle of border variety. Buy any 3 perennial potted plants & get the cheapest FREE!
