Hydrangea Plant - Endless Summer Bloomstar

Product Description

This hydrangea produces blooms up to 12cm across in a variety of colours from pink to blue depending on the p H level of the soil it is growing in. Its beautiful dark green leaves with its red petioles & veins make this plant a head turner even before the flowers bloom. Flowers change colour as they age
- creating a multi-coloured effect! Flowers June-October. Bloomstar will eventually reach a height of about 90-120cm & 120-150cm wide. They grow well in full sun & partial shade, also better in beds & borders. Plant supplied in a 3 litre pot. (Launched in the UK by the award winning commercial grower John Woods Nurseries. This was developed by Dr Michael Dirr in the USA.) The flowers on traditional hydrangeas often just don?t last long enough. But this range flowers on both old & new wood, often flowering before other varieties start &, in favourable conditions, continuing for many months after. Ideal for people who accidentally prune their plants at the wrong time, & in areas where the frost may damage the flower buds... these plants will still bloom!
