Originating in South America, chillies have been used for centuries to flavour hot, spicy dishes. They are a good source of Vitamins A & C. Twilight, which grows to 55cm (22"), tall carries beautiful small, pointed, multi-coloured fruits. Culture: Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-21°C (65-70°F) using a good quality, moist compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (¼") sieved compost. (Germination 14-21 days). Transplant the resulting seedlings into 7.5cm (3" pots) & grow on in good light in the greenhouse/indoors. Plant out into greenhouse soil, or tubs on a sunny patio (May-June). Alternatively, transplant into 15-18cm (6-7") pots & grow on the windowsill. Plants will commence cropping from July onwards.
