Product Description

Corylopsis pauciflora buttercup witch hazel is a dense slow-growing shrub with red-tinged ovate leaves when young bearing fragrant primrose yellow bell-shaped flowers in spring that appear in short drooping racemes (2-5 flowers). Native to western Japan & Taiwan the bright green toothed leaves have distinctive sunken veining turning to shades of yellow to yellowish-green in autumn. Buttercup is in reference to the fragrant yellow flowers. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers March-April. Height 100-150cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
