A twist on the classic Round Nose Fish (RNF) combined with the RNF Quint which was one of the defining boards of the time the Redux features many odes to the classic RNF with a few tweaks to bring it bang up to date. The classic RNF featured a narrow tail & nose template wide outline short length & flat-ish rocker for the time it was introduced it was unique & became somewhat of a classic. The RNF Quint reflected the times of the quad fin revolution widening tails & more glide built into boards. The Quint was a great groveller but didn't match the Classic RNF for performance. Jump to 2017 & the RNF Redux is an ode to times past & takes inspiration from both boards the pulled in performance & drive of the classic RNF with the glide & versa :: Unisex > Surfboards. The Libtech & Lost collaboration continues with the Shortround. It has been described as a skatey speedster board but with a high performance hook it has the ability to be fast & flat but doesn't come with the usual 'fat volume' that you would normally get from hybrids. The speed comes from a low entry rocker & wide-ish nose with a forward wide point & generous concave throughout. The performance comes from a moderate but not flipped up tail rocker a double concave through the fins & the same sort of modern bump squash tail that you would find on a typical contest style small wave HP shortboard.
