Terra Nova Laser Competition 2 Man Lightweight Tent is a larger version of the award winning Competition 1 tent. With a minimum weight of just 1.13kg / 2lb 7oz the Laser Competition 2 tent has been a firm favourite for Adventure Races, Mountain Marathons & Ultra Light Backpacking. The Competition 2 tent is also compatible with the Terra Nova FASTPACK system, allowing those who want to trim weight further when conditions permit, to use the flysheet & the fastpack groundsheet (available separately). The Laser Competition 2 tent pitches flysheet & inner together, so it is exceptional quick to erect. The transverse porch creates more usable space than a longitudinal porch & provides excellent shelter from the wind as well as a large entrance. Please note: Due to the super light nature of the material used in the tents construction Terra Nova are unable to factory seal the seams, in a conventional method. However they are positioned & sewn in a way that minimises water penetration & it's possible to add further protection yourself, with seam sealer, to fully waterproof the tent.
