Throughout the construction
The Softie Premier range of sleeping bags are manufactured in Snugpaks West-Yorkshire factory using a combination of state of the art computer controlled quilting machinery & a traditional team of skilled machinists.
Throughout the construction process quality performance fabrics are utilised to produce a sleeping bag that is lightweight yet extremely warm. The outer is manufactured from Paratex Xtreme, a ripstop water repellent fabric. The inner is manufactured form Paratex Light, a very soft lightweight fabric that is exceptionally breathable & able to wick the perspiration quickly from the source. The insulating material is a single layer of 90g/m 2 Softie Premier, a super-fine fill that provides a luxurious down like feel whilst retaining most of its thermal properties when wet. A metalised highly breathable fabric called Reflectatherm is used in conjunction with Softie Premier that reflects heat back to the body, retaining warmth.
Snugpaks 'profiling' no stitch through construction techniques increases loft & eliminates cold spots caused by traditional quilt lines. Comfort is further enhanced with face hugging snorkel baffles & chunky zip baffles, fitted with anti snag 'easy glide' draught seals.
Two bags can be zipped together to make a double (left & a right hand opening needed).
