Exercise Physiology Course Coaches at International level are employing the services & skills of exercise physiologists (plus psychologists, nutritionists, etc.) in order to lessen the chances of failure & to ensure victory. This course is designed to give therapists the knowledge & understanding of how the body physiologically responds to & adapts through physical exercise. Training principles will be re-visited & applied to fitness testing & evaluation. The therapist will be capable of assessing present physiological levels & plan appropriate programmes. Case study reviews will be used throughout the course, bringing together a number of coaching issues such as injury assessment, diet & nutrition, competition & peaking.
