Thailand at 1:1, 200, 000 on a double-sided bilingual map from the Bangkok based Thinknet, with several enlargements of popular islands, environs of the capital, & main routes, plus an index of sights, a distance table, etc. All place names are given in both Thai & Latin alphabet &, where appropriate, in English. The map divides the country north/south with a tiny overlap between the two sides. Relief shading with altitude colouring shows the topography. Road network is graded according to the numbering system (1 digit highways, etc). Cross-border entry points are prominently marked. Railway lines are easier to seem than on other maps of the country. Towns are classified according to their administrative status & provincial boundaries are marked. The map indicates various places of interest, principally national parks or protected areas, waterfalls & many local lakes or reservoirs. Latitude & longitude lines are drawn at 1° intervals. The index lists all locations by names of changwats (administrative provinces) rather than alphabetically. Also provided are:* A large inset showing the Bangkok Expressway & the outer ring road at 1:150, 000 with detailed diagrams of 25 interchanges.* A map of the Udon Ratthaya Expressway & surrounding area, a diagram of the Bangkok
- Chonburi
- Pattaya motorway, plus a table of toll charges on six expressway routes.* An enlargements showing in greater detail the islands of Phuket, Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, Ko Chang & Samet.* A comprehensive distance table, but arranged by province rather than alphabetically.
