Detailed road classification indicates toll & free motorways & gives driving distances on all local routes. 152 special tourist routes are highlighted, including Camino de Santiago – The Way of St James to Compostela. Mountain passes are graded into three categories according to likelihood of problems with snow closures. The map also shows 116 Via Verde routes (hiking tracks along the disused railway lines). A range of symbols indicate various places of interest, including campsites, paradors, Casa Rural accommodation, castles & ruins, golf courses, etc. Topographic information is provided by names of various mountain ranges & main peaks; 1100 national parks & other protected areas are marked.
