The Ascent of Snowdon is EG Rowland’s Cicerone guide to the best approaches to climbing one of Britain’s most famous mountains. Presented in pamphlet form, the guide has been re-published many times since its first edition in 1956 & is currently in its sixth edition. The author died in 1958 but this ever-popular guide is still available today. It aims at giving novice hill-walkers the confidence to venture into the wilds & ascend Snowdon. The guide covers all of the different ways walkers can climb the mountain

Despite the author’s death in 1958, the guide remains popular & is an excellent companion to climbing Snowdon.
