The maps have contours at 5 metre intervals, plus relief shading & graphics for rocky outcrops & boulders. Further graphics and/or colouring show different types of land use or vegetation (forests, arable l&, orchards, marshes, peat bogs, etc). An unusual feature of this survey is the colouring indicating buildings below or above two storeys high & “leisure/holiday homes”. The maps indicate privately maintained roads & include all other information expected of topographic survey at this scale. The maps have a 1-km UTM grid, plus latitude & longitude lines 5’ intervals. Rías Baixas region of Galicia in northern Spain on a contoured & GPS compatible map at 1:100, 000 from IGN/CNIG using cartography of their civilian topographic survey of Spain. Coverage extends from north of Santiago de Compostela & Cape Finisterre to the Portuguese border. Contours are 100m intervals, enhanced by relief shading plus coloring/graphics to show different types of vegetation. The map shows the network of local roads, country tracks & footpaths but without special overprint for waymarked routes. Symbols mark landmarks & selected places of interest. The map has a 10km UTM grid & margin ticks for latitude & longitude at 1’ intervals. Map legend is in Spanish only. Río Los Cipreses National Reserve on a waterproof & tear-resistant map from Trekkingchile presenting the whole Reserve at 1:100, 000, plus its northern part in more detail on an enlargement at 1:25, 000. Coverage of the main 100K map extends from El Manzanal southwards to the glaciers around the Cerro Alto de los Arrieros. Contours are at 100m intervals, with colouring/graphics indicating different types of terrain & vegetation (forest, scrubl&, pastures, boulder fields, etc). Main trekking routes are highlighted, along with areas for more walks, campsites & bivouacking places, viewpoints, petroglyphs, & other places of interest.
