In the north coverage goes beyond Kamchatka & the Aleutian Islands to show part of Alaska. In the east, most of North American continent is included, but on the coastline of South America. Countries are in different colours & on the Pacific itself political boundaries of various states & dependencies are marked. Also shown is the International Date Line, but the current edition shows the situation pre-2012, before Samoa & Tokelau Islands moved to the other side of the line. On the reverse separate panels at various scales show individual states & groups. For larger islands the maps have a plain green base with, where appropriate, spot heights & show main towns/settlements & main roads. The panels show: Tinian & Saipan with the smaller islands of the Northern Marianas, Marshall Islands, Guam, Kiribati (Gilbert Islands) including the Tarawa Atoll, Nauru, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, Wallis & Futuna, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, New Caledonia, Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, Tahiti with French Polynesia, Lord Howe Isl&, Norfolk Isl&, Pitcairn Islands, Easter Isl&, the Galapagos, & Hawaii. Each panel has margin ticks for latitude & longitude.
