Michelin’s street plan of Milan at 1:13, 000 is primarily designed to be used for access to & travel across the city by car, given its wide coverage of the outer suburbs & detailed presentation of the surrounding motorway network. This very large, double-sided map presents the city with the surrounding motorways including access to the Linate Airport & exits onto all the main routes connecting it with other parts of Italy. Road network is shown with the usual care associated with Michelin’s road maps: detailed layout of motorway junctions, dual carriageways, tunnels, etc. Main traffic arteries leading to the city centre are highlighted & one way streets are marked. The plan shows rail & metro lines with names of stations, with an additional diagram of the metro network included in the accompanying index booklet. Public buildings & facilities such as museums, theatres, historical monuments, churches, etc. from La Scala to San Siro, are highlighted & named. The city centre within its inner ring is also shown in greater detail on an enlargement at 1:9, 000. The index, in a separate booklet attached to the map cover, is arranged by location, with streets in the outer suburbs listed separately. Map legend
