This large map shows major tourist sites and transport routes, a Metro diagram and an overview of the Madrid region on enlarged road maps.Main roads and many minor roads are named (and numbered, where relevant) and one-way streets are indicated, and mainline and Metro lines and stations are displayed. In the margin of the map, information is provided on access, distances and travel times to and from surrounding areas, such as motorways, airports and nearby towns and cities. Many car parks and pedestrianised zones are displayed.The map is annotated with general tourist information such as: tourist offices, monuments, museums and galleries, squares, parks and gardens, shopping centres, theatres and major
sporting venues. Other places of interest are marked, such as places of worship, cemeteries, embassies, schools and universities, post offices, libraries, hospitals and sports facilities.
