Selected towns in Great Britain and Ireland are covered by maps showing thThe map covers the village of Grimethorpe, just east of Barnsley. Features include St Luke`s church, Foldhead Farm, Grimethorpe Cottage, Manor Farm, picture theatre, High Street, etc. South of the village is Grimethorpe Colliery, shown in detail with full track layout, reservoirs, brick works, plus Ferrymoor Colliery. The map extends west to Ferry Moor Farm, with a stretch of the Dearne Valley Railway. On the reverse are directories of Brierley and Grimethorpe, plus a list of West Riding colliery proprietors
