
One of the titles in a series of large double-sided topographic maps with numerous hiking routes & other tourist information, covering the central part of the Rhine Valley between Andernach & Bingen. The maps have cartography identical to the standard topographic survey of Germany, with an overprint highlighting numerous local & long-distance footpaths, indicating different waymarking & themes (wine, archaeology, geology, etc.). Cycling routes & scenic roads are also marked. A very extensive range of symbols highlight information centres, several types of accommodation, cultural & natural landmarks & locations of interest, recreational facilities, etc. The boundary of the region designated as the UNECSO World Heritage Area is marked, as are nature parks & nature reserves.
