Orlando has never been more enticing, with new attractions at all the main theme parks & lots of additional development elsewhere, with new hotels, restaurants, dinner shows, nightlife & much, much more. With this new edition of the UK's best-selling travel guide, we have all the lowdown on everything of offer, the latest updates & the best way to 'do it all' in this Central Florida wonderl&. There really is no other place anywhere in the world quite like it, but it requires a fair bit of planning & preparation, & the Brit Guide is your best friend when it comes to getting the very best for your holiday money here. We have been visiting & writing about it for years &, as we live right here
- about five minutes from Walt Disney World!
- no-one can provide British visitors with better insight & more valuable advice. We firmly believe this is the most exciting destination on earth, but it does make some serious demands on your time/wallet/patience, hence the need to your 'homework' in advance & take us with you at all times. We hate the idea of people spending their hard-earned cash on a trip to Orlando & not getting full value for it, so much of what we do is very much the tourist's eye view of things, & not the glossy brochure version.

**THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER** Where are you really from? You’re British. Your parents are British. You were raised in Britain. Your partner, your children & most of your friends are British. So why do people keep asking you where you are from? Brit (ish) is about a search for identity. It is about the everyday racism that plagues British society. It is about our awkward, troubled relationship with our history. It is about why liberal attempts to be ‘colour-blind’ have caused more problems than they have solved. It is about why we continue to avoid talking about race. In this personal & provocative investigation, Afua Hirsch explores a very British crisis of identity. We are a nation in denial about our past & our present. We believe we are the nation of abolition, but forget we are the nation of slavery. We are convinced that fairness is one of our values, but that immigration is one of our problems. Brit (ish) is the story of how & why this came to be, & an urgent call for change. ...
