Includes:: Central America & the Caribbean, extending from the North Pole to Venezuela. Aleutian Islands & the Bering Sea are shown on an inset. Within USA & Canada internal administrative boundaries are marked, with the names of states/provinces & their capital cities. In addition to the relief shading, the map has names of main geographic features such as mountain ranges, rivers & lakes, etc. Road network distinguishes between “superhighways” & other roads & principal railway lines are also shown. Latitude & longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 10°.

This second edition of Martin Lawrence's sailing directions for the North Sea coast from the Farne Islands to Cape Wrath has been thoroughly revised.
