The map covers a rural part of Northumberland close to the border
- the adjoining part of Scotland is left blank. An inset presents the Kielder Castle area in more detail. On the reverse is a detailed map of Plashetts including the colliery & station, now largely under water, plus timetable for the Riccarton to Newcastle route.
