Bacup in 1909 in a fascinating series of reproductions of old Ordnance Survey plans in the Alan Godfrey Editions, ideal for anyone interested in the history of their neighbourhood or family. The map covers the Rossendale town of Bacup, with the town centre on the eastern side of the map. Coverage then stretches westward to Pilling Barn Lane, and from Rockliffe Road northward to Broad Clough.
