This rare & highly collectable of Rugby Union memorabilia is an original match programme for the match between England & Ireland played at Twickenham on 11 February 1933. Apart from some creasing it is presented in good condition. Part of a large private collection (more of the collection can be viewed on this website) the owner has in some cases included some handwritten & typed notes on separate paper detailing the game & in subsequent years added more notes on the history of notable players. Includes:: their war history & in more recent times their passing. Some include relevant newspaper cuttings where a player is talked about either for their war efforts Rugby career or their obituary. These additions written & collected over a period of years by a person who witnessed the games adds considerable historical significance & which make fascinating reading.
