Product Description

Chris Finnegan won a gold medal in the Middleweight division at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico the last British boxer to do so until Audley Harrison in 2000. This rare one-off item of signed Boxing memorabilia comprises of a large colour photo of Finnegan in Olympic action. Under this is an historic & colourful Olympic First Day of Issue Postal Cover which is date stamped & personally signed by Finnegan across the front. There is also an embedded replica Olympic Medal inset into the cover itself with printed details of his achievements. The cover is mounted within protected corners & inside the envelope is a complete history of the subject. There is a plaque with details of the presentation & it has been recently framed in a stunning black surround with dual inset mounts that gives a great 3D effect. It measures in at a large & impressive 71cm by 42cm. (approx)A magnificent one-off item of signed Chris Finnegan memorabilia.
