This superb item of signed Cricket Memorabilia is a colourful First Day of Issue cover stamped 26th of July 1984 & personally signed by the late & great Kent & England legend Colin Cowdrey. Colin Cowdrey CBE became an English professional cricketer on the abolition of the distinction between amateur & professional in 1962. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009. With 114 Test matches & over 7 600 runs Cowdrey was a stalwart batsman for Engl&. His 22 centuries is a record held jointly with two other players & he is one of only a handful of batsmen to have scored over 100 first-class centuries. This First Day of Issue cover celebrates the opening of the Les Ames Memorial Pavilion at the Harvey Grammar School in July 1997 & measures 18cm x 11cm. It is presented in excellent condition & is a fine item of signed Cricket Memorabilia.
