Crompton 2ft T8 LED Tube Light This 2ft LED replacement tube from Crompton Lamps has been designed throughout to provide a safe, bright alternative to standard fluorescent T8 tubes that is both easier to install & more energy efficient. The tube employs Surface Mounted Diode (SMD) LED technology to deliver a clean, bright light that illuminates a range of spaces just as capably as existing fluorescent tubes, albeit more efficiently & reliably. The tube's linear circuit board is adorned with a series of LED chips that sit within a protective, cylindrical glass shell. The use of glass
- rather than plastic
- prevents the tube from bending, warping or discolouring over time. A diffused inner coating disperses the light within an optimal 320° beam angle & removes the need for a separate reflector, or the harmful substances commonly found in fluorescent tubes. Each tube carries a 2 year Simply LED warranty as standard, alongside a 4 year manufacturer's warranty. Each tube features a single-ended circuit that makes installation as simple & risk free as possible. However, despite this we would still recommend that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure the best results.
