This range of ultra modern LED R39 Reflector light bulbs uses a lightweight exterior shell to both house the light bulb's components & dissipate any heat away from them much quicker & more effectively than the aluminium heat sinks of other LED light bulbs. In doing so, this places them under less strain & enables the light bulb to last much longer, thereby minimising the number of times it would need to be replaced; for many, the 20, 000 hour rated lifetime would be enough to avoid replacement costs altogether.LED light bulbs use up to 90% less energy than incandescent versions & can conceivably reduce your lighting bill by a similar amount. Pair this with their reduced replacement costs & you can begin to get a measure of just how much each light bulb can save (both in terms of energy consumption & subsequent bill payments). This 4.5W R39 reflector is designed to retrofit to existing Small Edison Screw/SES fitments that can accommodate the light bulb. We find that the light bulb's opal finish & relatively wide beam angle of 110 make it particularly useful for diffused lighting either on its own in desk light bulbs & other restrictive fixtures, or collectively in wall sconces or ceiling assemblies.
