The ' Holt' Workwear jacket in herringbone Shetland yarn.. Bridging that awkward gap between indoor & out, this is the jacket your coat hook has been waiting for. I've used Moon's Yorkshire herringbone Shetland & it's then made up in London so proudly all British. Abraham Moon have been milling fabrics since 1837 so it's fair to say they know what they're doing. The flecked cloth means it'll work with every trouser known to man. Perfect to sling in the back of the Land Rover or for a quick pop to the shops.

Galileo Galilei discusses in 1638 the resistance of hollow solids: " Art, & nature even more, makes use of these in thousands of operations in which robustness is increased without adding weight, as is seen in the bones of birds & in many stalks that are light & very resistant to bending & breaking”. Robert Hook discovers in 1665 that the natural cellular structure of cork is similar to the hexagonal honeybee comb. & Charles Darwin states in 1859 that "the comb of the hive-bee, as far as we can see, is absolutely perfect in economizing labour & wax”. So in tribute to this remarkable structure here is my semi-precious honeycomb cufflink filled with lustrous natural mother of pearl in various colours. ...

Holt Workwear Jacket Cord Red

The 'Holt' Workwear jacket in cord. It's back to Britain for my fine working man's jacket. It's made in thick no-nonsense corduroy by Yorkshire's Brisbane Moss and manufactured in London. It neatly bridges the gap between work and play with handy patch pockets and one button down for essentials. This is a garment that will improve with age. Think less 70's history teacher but more Ernest Hemingway off to fight in the Spanish Civil War. Like a good pair of shoes this jacket softens with wear.
