Tie-down straps are used in preference to bungies to tie surfboards securely to roof racks. These tough high breaking-strain webbed tie-downs come in pairs in a mesh bag complete with neoprene protected metal buckles that lock when the tie-down is tightened. Although fine for solo use, or for high speed or long distance journeys, we recommend always adding another (third) tie-down to the front for additional security, & to meet legal requirements on secure loads. 3.6 metres (12 feet approx) long.
