A land of ancient crumbling temples, jagged limestone karsts, sprawling rice paddies, unique cities, powdery white beaches & pink-hued sunsets, Laos & Cambodia are countries of phenomenal natural beauty & this nine or 14-night multi-centre holiday will give you an insight into Lao & Khmer culture & a chance to experience two of the most inspiring countries in the world. Your first destination is Laos, where youll be staying in the welcoming, boutique luxury of 3 Nagas Hotel. From here youll take in some of the areas top cultural sites before seeing the sun go down from the top of Mount Phou Si. During your three-night stay, youll float up the Mekong River on a boat tour, visit the Pak Ou Caves & immerse yourself in local village customs including rice wine making, weaving & textile work. Your next stop is the breathtakingly beautiful Siem Reap in Cambodia, where you’ll be staying in Sokha Angkor for three nights. From your luxurious hotel, youll spend your time here taking in the spectacular Angkor Wat temple, as well as The Terrace of the Elephants & The Terrace of the Leper King before enjoying another spectacular sunset, this time from Pre Rup or Angkor Wat. Next stop will be in Phnom Penh
- Cambodias capital, a steadily growing city & the countrys political hub. Here youll stay for three nights at La Rose Boutique Hotel in the city centre. You’ll be able to make the most of your time here on a half-day cyclo-sightseeing tour before proceeding to the spa where you will have a one-hour foot massage or traditional Khmer massage to help you relax. To end your holiday, you have the option to slow things down with five relaxing nights at the four-star Sokha Beach Hotel in Cambodias most famous beach destination, the peaceful province of Sihanoukville. Here you can relax on the 1.5 kilometres of private beach or indulge in the decadent on-site spa. As part of our offer, stay at the 3 Nagas in a Superior Room for three nights, the Sokha Angkor for three nights in a Deluxe Pool View Room & La Rose Boutique for three nights in a Deluxe Room. At the 3 Nagas youll also receive a picnic lunch on us! If you choose to extend your trip, youll stay in the Sokha Beach Resort for five nights in a Superior Room on a bed & breakfast basis. Flights & private transfers are included. Good to know Please note that your outbound flight is overnight, so bear this in mind when planning the time youll be away for. Visas are required for entry to Laos & Cambodia. A Laos visa will be issued on arrival at a charge of US$35, & in Cambodia at a charge of US$20. Payments should be made in cash & you will also require one passport-size photograph per visa. Please note visa costs can change at any time.
