The Old Manor house is a Grade II listed hotel that sits in a rather lovely countryside position just on the outskirts of Bath. Originally built in classic Queen Anne style before getting an upgrade in the 17th century, the hotel has been carefully restored to its former glory – the design is pretty similar to Prince Charles’ fancy Highgrove digs. Interiors see fresh white walls & original wooden beams decked out with antiques & artwork, while outside you’ll find two acres of paddock & a fully planted kitchen garden growing herbs & vegetables for the hotels much lauded The Milk Parlour Restaurant. Whether your cheeks are rosy from rural ramblings or one too many West Country ciders, you’ll find plenty of cosy spaces to curl up & relax in.
