The classical lid closure allows fast access to the waterproof bags interior. An internal double drawstring snow flap provides additional protection against dust, humidity & snow. A fixed inner pocket with main compartment & zippered mesh pocket helps organising items inside the bag. The patented ORTLIEB QL1 system allows fast & easy single-handed mounting & removal of the panniers, & is suitable for racks with a tube diameters up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8 & 11 mm are included). Once the panniers are hooked into the rack, the mounting components close automatically. For taking off the rack you simply lift the handle. Its as easy as that! The elliptical hook rail on the lower rear side of the pannier serves for additional fixation & prevents the bag from moving around. Thanks to the rotating QL2 hook the mounting system is compatible with almost any bike rack.
