Water on Earth is always moving through the water cycle. It is heated by the Sun, rises as vapour to form clouds, falls as rain & other kinds of precipitation, & collects into rivers, streams, lakes, oceans & in the ground. Some water is stored by humans, & some water is stored as ice in very cold places. The water cycle means that everywhere on Earth gets at least a little water. Emerald level (equivalent to the Lime bridging book band) provides a variety of chapter books & non-fiction titles.
