This is not so much a book about how to paint trees, as how to paint scenes with trees in them, and it's all the better for that.
The book comprises no fewer than 24 different scenes, each with an outline tracing and a double-page spread showing the completed work along with notes on the colours used and how some of the specific details were handled.
