Being Bold With Watercolour DVD With Annette Kane
Be brave, be creative and be BOLD!
"Bold" isn't a word generally associated with watercolour, but that's because most artists don't know the secrets of using them to create bright, vibrant works.
Confidence plays a large part in being able to paint well in watercolour and feeling able to take a risk or two without feeling too concerned about the results - mistakes are after all, all part of the learning process.
In this simply stunning DVD, Annette paints two very different scenes using very different styles and techniques. Firstly Annette works in a way that she describes as "detailed and careful" when she paints a stunning Garden scene, full to brim with plant life, shrubbery and potted flowers. Her second project involves a much more relaxed and looser approach when she paints
a Mediterranean coastal scene, capturing the 'idea' of the landscape instead of recording the precise detail. Overall, Annette encourages you to try something new a little bit different allowing you to improve along the way and grow as an artist.
