    different paintings,

    scene with crashing waves

    sunset, casting a gleam

    In each project, you
    will learn where to make
    effective use of masking
    fluid to create the white
    wisps of breakers, the
    dramatic spray spilling
    over the rocks and to
    create the path of the
    setting sun's gleam,
    before moving on to the
    different skies which
    will form the backdrop of
    each picture, the rocks
    and finally, the sea
    itself. Terry reveals his
    different techniques for
    creating clouds, rocks
    and waves - how to mix
    and apply the subtle
    colours, how to change
    the mood with the use of
    colour, light and shade;
    which brushes to choose,
    and how to manipulate
    them to create special
    effects, how to lift out
    the paint with tissue
    paper and add texture
    with the use of a credit
    card. His philosophy is
    to keep things simple,
    and he does that
