Weve taken the Giant TCR Advanced SL frame & added some of the worlds best components, road bikes dont come much better than this. With an Advanced SL carbon construction featuring a Mega Drive downtube & Power Core bottom bracket to boost power transfer & efficiency. Add an integrated Ride Sense ANT+ sensor to transmit essential stats including cadence & speed & you have the ideal frame to build the ultimate road bike on. The equipment on this custom build road bike is nothing but the best. A full Sram Red groupset provides flawless shifting while a pair of Sram S60 carbon wheels with Giant P-SLR1 tyres provide the ultimate connection to the road. To complete the TCR Advanced SL Custom Build we added the very best finishing kit from Giant including a Vector seatpost & lightweight Advanced SL fork with full carbon steerer. Advanced SL Composite The highest-performance T-800 raw carbon-fibre material is painstakingly woven in Giant’s own composite factory to create the most cutting-edge frames available today. This is the technology used by Giant’s world championship-caliber racers as they compete in the most demanding events on the planet. These frames feature the most advanced engineering & construction methods. Over Drive 2 As the first manufacturer to bring the tapered headtube to market
- with the 2006 Glory mountain bike
- Giant knows a thing or two about inventing solutions for enhanced steering precision. The original Over Drive technology resulted in groundbreaking stiffness-to-weight ratios, & now Giant is doing it again with an all-new standard: Over Drive 2. Ride Sense Giant’s all-new chainstay-integrated, wireless data transmitter. The removable transmitter sends wheel-speed & cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer. Compact Road Design In 1997, when riders on the legendary Spanish pro team ONCE rolled up to the start of a race on a compact geometry Giant bike, the competition didn’t quite know what to think. For decades before that moment, the design & geometry of road bikes had remained essentially the same. Giant’s new approach was a radical departure, & we called it Compact Road design.
