Exposures Trace R Re AKT Mk 2 is essentially the Blaze Re AKT Mk 3s younger sibling. While it may be slightly inferior in terms of output & burn times, its features are more or less like-for-like. As its name suggests, the younger sibling in this family also features the ground-breaking technology of Re AKT, just like its elder. Re AKT, or Ambient Kinetic Technology, enables the Trace R to automatically flare under braking, upon entering areas of higher ambient light creates a contrast in brightness. Think of it essentially as the rear brake light on your car, but on your bike. Updated with Peloton mode for 2019, the Trace R utilises the Re AKT Technology for use in a chain gang by dimming upon the detection of a rider’s front light, preventing a dazzling effect, but flaring up as a beacon at the tail of the pack. Powered by a high capacity battery that gives you substantial burn times, the Trace R Re AKT Mk 2 also features USB (Universal Serial Bus) Charging for your convenience, a choice of 6 burn times & modes, a Day Bright flash pattern for use at both day & night, & side illumination that delivers 180 degrees of visibility.
