With its alternating 1.8/3.5mm teeth, the 1XR interlocks with the plates of your chain for the ultimate security, with no loss of efficiency. A reduced frontal profile on the wide 3.5mm teeth increases mud clearance for your chains inner plates to increase mud clearance helping to negate the main downside of running a narrow wide chainring. CNC machined from 7075 T6 Aluminium & treated with a hard anodised surface, the Renthal 1XR Chainring offers high resistance to wear to create a long lasting drivetrain. Wide Tooth Profiling Sculptured profile of the wide tooth adds significant clearance for your chains inner plates to vastly increase the longevity of your Renthal ring & chain while impoving chain retention in muddy conditions. Mud Grooves in Tooth Bed Grooves located in each tooth bed, combined with the ample clearance below the outer chain plates allows dirt & mud to be purged clar of the drivetrain, improving performance & durability. I-Beam Cross-Section CAD I-Beam cross section provides maximum strength & stiffness with the lowest weight possible. Ultimate Chain Rentention Alternating teeth sizes interlock with the inner & outer links of 9, 10 or 11 speed chains to provide the highest levels of chain rentention & efficiency. Full CNC Construction The XR1 is fully CNC machined from 7075 T6 aluminium. This CNC maching allows accurate tooth face profiling & the maximum width contact area for greater longevity. High Quality Finish After CNC machining, the XR1 is hard anodised to provide an incredibly durable surface finish.
