The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SL Trapeze features a top spec for 2018. Powerful Bosch Performance CX motor, Shimano Di 2 drivetrain & all the accessories you could need, this bike is the ideal companion for all distances. At the heart of the Kathmandu is the powerful Bosch Performance CX motor, capable of 250W of power & 75 Nm of torque. A 500 Wh battery is enough for a full days worth of riding & provides the maximum range possible from the Bosch system. The Intuvia display has been conveniently mounted on the handlebar of the bike, giving a clear reading of your current speed as well as giving out other important information, such as remaining range. The assistance levels of the motor are also controlled via the Intuvias included handlebar remote, giving you thumb control over the power the motor outputs. The SL model of the Kathmandu Hybrid features a premium Rock Shox Paragon Gold fork which gives 63mm of air-sprung travel & has been specifically designed for trekking use, providing comfort & control over any terrain. The Paragon also features a lockout function for more stability on uphill climbs. A suspension seatpost is also included for some comfort to the rear of the bike, allowing this bike to comfortably go the distance. The standout feature of the SL has to be the Shimano XT Di 2 drivetrain which provides seamless, electronically controlled gear changes, which combined with the 11-46T cassette, provides the optimum range for a bike of this nature. Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power, with a combination of 180mm & 160mm discs that give the perfect balance of power & control. XT brake levers give the maximum response with a single finger touch. The Kathmandu is fitted with all the must-have accessories, straight from the box.
