Twist & Twine: 18 Ideas for Rag Rugs & Home Decor Readers will be introduced to the basic techniques of fabric twining, a traditional craft that has been around since the 1800s & only reintroduced in the last 10 years. Four extraordinary rug projects with a modern sensibility keep the tradition alive, but then the basics are taken to a new level with three-dimensional items, such as bowls, boxes & baskets, & household items.
