Red 14-Count DMC Aida This 14-Count, 100% cotton Red Aida is great for a many cross stitch projects. The count size refers to how many holes there are per inch of fabric. These pieces have 14 holes per inch, which is ideal for all your cross stitching needs. The higher the count the smaller the stitches. If you would like to work out what size fabric you need for your charted design. Count how many squares there are in each direction of your chart & divide by the count of your fabric. For large projects we would suggest that you leave a 5" margin in each direction for stretching, framing or finishing. There is nothing worse than working on a project only to find that the design will not fit on your piece of fabric! All Aida is woven from threads grouped in bundles to form a square pattern on the fabric, which in turn creates the holes. These holes direct you to where the needle should be inserted & the straightness of the fabric therefore is very important for the design of the pattern. Available in
