Forget Me Not Fairy Cross Stitch Chart Pack by DMCPrepare to enter the secret world of the Flower Fairies. Flower Fairies are tiny creatures (the biggest is only 20cm tall) that live in the bottom of the garden, the middle of grassy meadows, & on the edge of distant marshes. Wherever & whenever a seed sprouts, a Flower Fairy baby is born. Each Flower Fairy lives & sleeps in their chosen flower, plant or tree & as this grows the fairy grows too. Each & every Flower Fairy is in charge of looking after their flower or plant; keeping it strong & healthy by making sure it has plenty of sunshine & water to drink, sweeping away dead leaves & polishing flowers & stems. Created by Cicely Mary Barker the Flower Fairies are famous throughout the world & beautifully translated into cross stitch chart packs by DMC. Here we have a colour chart for the Forget Me Not Fairy. Included with the chart is a pack of rocaille beads. Perfect for embellishing your stitching to add that extra sparkle. ...

Four Knitting Looms These colourful circles are modern knitting looms. They have historically been known by many names: Knitting Wheels, Knitting Frames, Rake Knitters, French Knitters, Corkers, & Spools. Just like in needle knitting, the stitches on a knitting loom are formed by interconnecting loops that become a piece of fabric. The pegs function as needles; each peg holds one loop that becomes a stitch. The wool sits around the pegs. The knitter comes & wraps each of the pegs, then lifts the bottom loop over & off, letting the loop drop to the inside of the loom. Each time the knitter lifts a loop over & off, a stitch is created. If you love French knitting then you will love this super sized version. Each of the four Looms will create a certain size knitted tube. Simply cast-on, create two layers of wool (follow the instructions) & then you are ready to stitch by using the tool provided to lift the bottom stitch over the top. With your finished tube, you can create a simple hat with a single ball of wool or fun socks for cold days. It is simple to learn & the knitting looms are uncomplicated to use. Those who have given up crochet & needle knitting owing to Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or other such complaints can enjoy loom knitting instead. It does not call for use of needles & is very user friendly.
Includes: four (large, medium, small & fine) looms, hook & needle. Wool not included.

Four Pieces Of 14 Count Christmas Aida

Four Pieces of 14 Count Aida in Christmas Shades 12 x 14 (30.5 x 35.6cm). This 14 count, 100% combed cotton Aida pack contains one of each of following:- red, green, blue and black Aida. Woven and finished in the USA by MCG Textiles Inc. Each piece 12 x 14 (30.5 x 35.6cm). The count size refers to how many holes there are per inch of fabric. These pieces have 14 holes per inch, which is ideal for all your cross stitching needs. The higher the count the smaller the stitches. If you would like to work out what size fabric you need for your charted design. Count how many squares there are in each direction of your chart and divide by the count of your fabric. For large projects we would suggest that you leave a 5 margin in each direction for stretching, framing or finishing. There is
nothing worse than working on a project only to find that the design will not fit on your piece of fabric! All Aida is woven from threads grouped in bundles to form a square pattern on the fabric, which in turn creates the holes. These holes direct you to where the needle should be inserted and the straightness of the fabric therefore is very important for the design of the pattern. MCG Textiles have been manufacturing the finest quality needlework fabrics for over 35 years. They use only the finest machines available, to ensure straightness, hole count and consistency of colour. The Aida is proudly woven in the USA from 2 ply 100% cotton yarns which have been grown in America.
