Halo GXC 650x 47 Gravel Tyre Designed to excel on loose & challenging terrain, GXC is the most aggressive & traction-enabling gravel tyre in the halo lineup. It's the perfect weapon for all-season riding. It utilises a 60TPI tubeless carcass that is both lightweight & reliable. Not only does this carcass allow the tyre to conform to the terrain for enhanced comfort & grip, but it also brushes off a large amount of potential damage from objects on the trail. Rolling speed is maximised thanks to the closely spaced arrow-shaped blocks in the centre of the tread, despite a deep tread depth. The central blocks keep the tread free of mud by encouraging mud & water down the channels. Rearwards facing edges on the arrow blocks aid grip under braking whatever the conditions. The side tread offers a combination of spaced & specifically placed blocks. Combined with optimised siping the aggressive side tread helps the GXC offer enormous grip levels that blur the lines with mountain bike tyres. The GXC tyre also offers a large tread wrap for extreme lean angles & features dual compounds. The rubber compound used in the centre is slightly firmer to increase rolling speeds & longevity. The edge compound being softer, combined with the large tread wrap means grip is further maximised. Halo GXR 650bx 47mm Tyre GXR is Halo's all-surface gravel tyre. It utilises a 60TPI tubeless carcass that results in a tyre that is both lightweight & reliable. The carcass allows the tyre to conform to the terrain for maximum grip & comfort while brushing off a large amount of potential damage from objects on the trail. Incorporated into the central tread of the tyres are leading edges that improve braking, acceleration & traction in all conditions, while managing to retain a flush rolling surface. These leading edges only come into play when used in the wet, or when riding off-road. In the dry & when on smooth surfaces the tyre rolls with minimal resistance. The side tread offers a combination of spaced & specifically placed blocks. Combined with optimised siping, the aggressive side tread helps the GXR achieve enormous levels of grip when needed most. To make this a truly all condition tyre, angled mud & water-shedding channels have also been integrated into the shoulder tread.
