- Zinsser ZN7080001C1, Zinsser's Cover Stain is an interior / exterior primer, sealer, stain sealer & bond coat that dries for recoat in only two hours. On interior surfaces, Cover Stain dries quickly & has great hiding power, providing outstanding stain killing & enamel undercoating performance. Stains of all kinds are permanently sealed so topcoats are blemish free. Cover Stain is especially effective on nicotine & water stains. New wood trim can be primed, sanded & top coated the same day, saving time & money. On exterior surfaces, Cover Stain has a unique formulation that delivers full penetration & flexibility on all surfaces, especially dimensionally unstable wood panelling & trim, where few oil-based primers can succeed. It resists cracking & peeling & is compatible with all decorative top coats. The primer is white in colour, but can also be tinted to mid-tone colours. It can be applied via an airless sprayer, brush, pad or roller. Application information: Coverage: 9.8m-square per litre. Touch dry: 35 minutes. Hard dry: 4
