This converter uses a reinforced isolation transformer to offer exceptionally high isolation of 10k VDC (5k VAC/1minute). This makes it suitable for HT monitoring circuits, mains power meters, IGBT isolated power supplies & other sophisticated industrial & medical applications. The isolation capacitance of only 20p F makes it suitable for low leakage applications. The isolation transformer is recognised by CSA as reinforced isolated with a minimum internal clearance of 2.4mm & a minimum internal creepage clearance of 4.6mm. The REC6-2415DRW/R10/A is supplied with industry standard pinouts (= option '/A'). The converter can deliver 140% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high start up currents.
