- Raspberry Pi SC0873, The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 (No IR) with a standard (75°) lens is a high quality 12 Megapixel Sony IMX708 image sensor custom designed add-on board for the Raspberry Pi, featuring powered autofocus, enhanced low-light sensitivity & High Dynamic Range (HDR) support. The No IR version is infrared-sensitive with no Infra Red (No IR) filter on the lens, which makes it perfect for shooting Infrared photography & taking pictures/video in low light (twilight) environments. It connects to the Raspberry Pi via the dedicated Camera Serial Interface (CSI), designed especially for interfacing to cameras, using the short ribbon cable attached to the module. Camera Module 3's operation is fully supported by the libcamera library, including the rapid autofocus feature making it easy for beginners to use, while offering plenty for advanced users. Camera Module 3 is available in standard (visible-light-only) & infrared-sensitive (No IR) variants, with either a standard (75°) or wide-angle (120°) lens, giving you more options for your specific project needs. It can be used to take full HD video as well as stills photographs, & features an HDR mode up to 3 megapixels. The module is capable of 4608x 2592 pixel images & 4608x 2592 @14 FPS/2304x 1296 @56 FPS/1536x 864 @120FPS video. When HDR is enabled, the resolution is limited to 2304x 1296 @ 30 FPS. The small size & light weight of this module make it ideal for mobile or other applications where size & weight are important. Suitable applications including IR photography, low light photography, CCTV security camera, motion detection, time lapse photography, etc. Excludes Pi 5 camera cable, please add 75-1290 (camera) / 75-1291 (display) if required.
