- PULS YR40.245, This redundancy module from PULS has been manufactured to a high standard, with a compact design that is ideal for installation in an enclosure, & intended for general professional use such as in industrial control, office, communication, & instrumentation equipment. The PSU is used to build redundant systems & has one input & one output to carry nominal currents up to 40A. The output is equipped with a plug-connector that replaces the power supply or redundancy module while the system is running (hot-swapping). One of the main features is the utilisation of mosfets instead of diodes for the decoupling of the two input channels. This reduces the heat generation & the voltage drop between input & output. The redundancy module does not require an additional auxiliary voltage. Due to the low power losses, the unit is very slender & only requires 46mm width on the DIN-rail.
