- Parrot 2641, The Parrot Red Bebop Drone Quadcopter with Skycontroller combines the Bebop Drone with an integrated GPS & 14MP camera & the Skycontroller mobile device holder/tactile remote control. The Bebop is a Wi-Fi-based, mobile device operated RC aircraft capable of capturing 1080p aerial video & taking 14 megapixel still photos. The Bebop is controlled from an Android or i OS mobile device running the Free Flight 3 App. In addition to letting you control the quadcopter, the app provides a real-time preview from the flight camera, & you can even record a low-resolution feed directly on your device. For high res recording you can use the 8 Gbyte of built-in memory, or connect a USB (Universal Serial Bus) storage device for increased capacity. The Bebop uses GPS + GLONASS satellite data to accurately record its position. You will have telemetry data to help you remember which images were taken at which location, & a future &8216;flight path' in-app purchase will assist with planning out a user-chosen route for the drone to follow. The GPS also allows the drone to respond to a simple &8216;return home' comm&, which causes it to fly back to its point of launch & hover or l&, without need for direct manual control. Two outdoor hulls are included, plus there is an 'indoor hull' which is comprised of removable EPP prop guards. With the outdoor hull, the flight weight is reduced & the quadcopter is more aerodynamic. The Bebop Drone is powered from a 1200m Ah lithium-polymer (Li Po) battery, which is estimated to provide around 12 minutes of flying time. Two batteries & a charger are included in the box. The Skycontroller extends the Bebop Drone's Wi-Fi range up to 1.2 miles & features a hardware-based control pad. To maximize the first-person flying experience, the Skycontroller allows the connection of third-party FPV glasses, including the Oculus Rift, Zeiss Cinemizer, Epson Moverio, & Sony Personal Viewer.
