- Maxim MAX692ACPA+, This microprocessor supervisory circuit is designed to reduce the complexity & number of components required for power supply monitoring & battery control functions in microprocessor systems, giving significantly enhanced system reliability & operational performance compared to separate systems of discrete components. The IC provides four functions. Reset output during conditions of power-up, power-down & brownout. Battery backup switching for CMOS, RAM, CMOS µP, & other low power logic. Reset pulse from the watchdog timer. A 1.25V threshold detector for power-fail warning or low-battery detection, or to monitor a power supply other than +5V. Suitable applications for this microprocessor monitor include: battery-powered computers & controllers, intelligent instruments, automotive systems, critical microprocessor power monitoring.
