- Kern ORA 4UA, The Kern ORA 4UA refractometer measures the concentration of various industrial & automotive solutions by measuring their refractive index. It is particularly suitable for measuring & determining the concentration of Ad Blue, glycol (ethylene: EG & propylene: PG), battery fluid (BF), urea & measuring the freezing point of screen wash (CW). The Kern ORA 4UA is a universal, maintenance-free analogue manual refractometer. Its practical & robust design means that it can be used simply, efficiently & repeatedly in a production environment. Conversion of the displayed refractive index value is avoided by the built-in calibrated scales, eliminating user calculation error. The scales have been specially developed, precisely calculated & have very thin, clear graduation lines. The refractometer is fitted with an eyepiece that is adjustable to match the individuals' eyesight.
